Is this really nonpartisan?
We grade consistency, not ideology. Conservative, liberal, independent — if you vote your conscience and say what you mean, you score well. If you contradict yourself or your donors, you score lower, regardless of party. See our Methodology page for full transparency.
What contradictions are included?
Vote-position contradictions (when a rep votes against their publicly stated position) and rhetoric contradictions (when a rep says one thing and does another publicly). All findings are reviewed by human analysts before appearing in the public database. Premium users see full detail: quotes, dates, sources.
How current is the data?
Our automated pipeline runs daily at 5 AM CST: new votes, social posts, media transcripts, and bills. FEC donor data updates weekly. All data from Congress.gov, the FEC, and public records.
Is there an API or data export?
API access is a separate tier for developers and organizations — not included in the consumer Premium plan. Contact us for API pricing. Premium includes downloadable PDF reports for individual representatives.
